Dr Ainsley Coats

Ainsley qualified from Glasgow University in 1992.  Her early career was in General Practice before progressing to Hospital Surgery.  She has worked in many branches of Dentistry including Surgery, Orthodontics and Community Special Needs and gained her Fellowship in 1999.  Having owned a Practice for 10 years, she now concentrates on the delivery of Dentistry as an Associate.  She also provided Maxillofacial Surgery sessions as a Specialty Doctor at Crosshouse Hospital.  Ainsley accepts referrals from Dental colleagues for Minor Oral Surgery.

Outside of Dentistry she manages a small farm with her husband (and Dental Nurse) Andrew.  Their chickens provide eggs for the local food bank.  Donkeys, goats, sheep and alpaca keep them busy, but they do relax occasionally.  Trips in their caravan to watch Touring Car Racing encourage them away from the smallholding.
